Too much of anything is wrong. This principle applies to sun bathing, too. Even when you stay on the Outer Banks of a body of water and cover yourself up with sun block, too much of the sun’s rays can damage your skin and even cause disease.
That is why it is advised to sun bathe early in the morning or late in the afternoon and not anytime between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Sometimes, even as it draws closer to that time period, a sun bather can feel the heat difference in the sun at earlier or later times.
